Thank-You All

What a week! And it's only half way through.

Renee is doing fine, she is going to be ok : )
She had a complete obstruction, and they could only speculate.
So they performed "exploritory surgury, today.
They removed a cancerious tumor. The surgery, lasted about 3 hrs.
After surgery, the Dr. explained some things.
Renee has already been recieving Chemo so this episode is actually
a good thing. Serendipity I will say!

Thank you all for your kind and supportive words!
I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

When Renee came out of recovery, she was grumpy as hell! : )
(She'll be normal in no time! ha!)
I'm so happy right now..

I do need to finish up on those frames, as more work is coming in.
I will document as best I can.
Any of you folks can ask any questions on gilding, as I'm a 'know it all'
and will share it with you for sure! (any time)
For now, I want to relax and have a glass of wine!
I'm exhausted!

Bill I am so happy for Renee and you and your family. Let Renee be as grumpy as she likes, she's earned the right :) You get some rest and enjoy your wine~~~By the way your cat is adorable. I can see why you love your cat~~~

Please take some rest and relax, Dad - you earned it. This has been exhausting for both of you. It looks like Meowie has not really been pulling his weight around the house by the pic above:) See you later.

Hi Bill--

So glad that things are moving in a positive direction! Sounds like you deserve more than ONE glass of wine--hope you can relax a bit now.

Thanks Everyone! Renee is much stronger today.
I've been able to make progress on the frames also. I took pictures through the steps, so I can show them.
Monday I will lay the gold leaf.
Now I have to decide how to present this all in an understandable manor.
Please give me a day on this! Thanks!

Hi Bill,
Im really happy to hear that Renee will be fine, enjoy that glass of wine you deserve it. Love that Gerome painting you have posted, one of my favorites from the M.I.A. and its so small too. Your an expert on gilded frames? Do you make frames as well? Take care!

Thanks Jonathan,Gerome has always been a favorite must see when visiting M.I.A.
I'm not a framer as such. However custom frames for art works are my specialty. Carving
gilding, and design are my strengths.
Thanks again Jonathan, your a talented young
