Where's bill!?

Isn't she beautiful!
I apologize for not posting lately. I'm in a bit of a funk.
I have been taking care of business, and needed to go
to a place to think.
This statue and I are bonded in a way. I talk, and she
listens.
When I got home I saw Don Hatfields cd arrived! I
sat down and watched the whole thing.
Dons new cd is about painting portraits in a bold
impressionistic manner. Something I want to do.
Look out world...billspaintingmn is inspired!

She is beautiful Bill and she looks like she would be an excellent listener :) Welcome back and I hope that we soon will see a portrait that you have painted in bold impressionistic style!!!

Sometimes as artists we get in a creative or personal funk due creativity or lack of it. I heard week before last from many artists being in a bit of a painting funk, or funk in particular. I think it is something in the air, an artist virus (wink.) I think we feel things deeply. Proud to see you are again inspired.

Hi Bill- I always visit that beautiful statue at MIA too, and sit a spell with her; I think I would like to sketch her once while I'm there, but I'm a bit shy about nudity- maybe just the face. Keep being inspired!

Martinealison! Thank you! May day has always been a day of admiration!

Thanks Jan! I appreciate that! Thank you!

Thanks Tina! My mood was down too long,I think artists are receptive and sencitive to things
in the 'air' (that's a good/bad thing, as I wrestle with it!)

Jesus! Hi! I always look both ways before I enter into 'traffic' Thanks!
I bought a cd from Don Hatfield, an artist I met in blogsville. Here is his adress:http://hatfieldfineart.blogspot.com/
There are so many artists I admire, and Don is one of them!

Thank you Cindy! : ) I hope to paint something soon!

Hi Judy! The first time I saw this statue, I thought she was an angel. I still think she's
an angel!
Shy about nudity? Me too! Nudity (to me) is
intimate and reserved. It does have a place in
the human race. It's a gift of God.
It also can be mistaken and abused. It has a power like none other!

Thanks you all for your comments! It feels good to connect. I have been struggling lately
with 'stuff' like everyone else.
I hope and want to return the support to all of you! Thanks!

She sees your ship is coming in! Good fortune awaits!

Thanks Jonathan! My motivation comes a lot from
the artists (You & others) that I corrospond with on these blogs.
I'm "imagineering",(as Bruce would say) a
composition.

Yes Celeste! I agree! regrouping is a great way to put it! My next composition will have a
bit of Celeste in it! (Really!)

wetoilpaint! Bless you! what a positive comment! It's very supportive!(I must find out your name!!)

This new composition I intend, came first as an idea. Without revealing to much, I might add I intend to sketch these ideas, examine them and 'cook' what is useful.
This compositon will grow into itself, instead of snapping a photo and painting from it.
(I may use some photos for reference..)
Work has already begun, and hope to post this finished composition in the near future
Thank you all for coming by!

You're welcome,"again" Bruce! I'm sure Allison has worked hard to achieve her position.
Your "kind" remarks and "humor" has me laughing
on the inside!("yuk-yuk")
...and yes, I'm always careful and courteous around great works of art!

Haloa!
I was out of circulation for to, to long because of accumulations of work creation preparedness, hangings and openings. Today I rejoice to come to enjoin the camaraderie of friend artists, a most important part of me been, or tray to be an artist.
