Apples

As I was painting these apples, a friend stopped by.
His son, about 3 years old asked if he could eat one.
" Sure" I said!
So he ate it, and asked for the other one also!
I did not get to finish painting these apples.

Ha, funny! But now we can see how well you start; these apples are already very nicely modeled, and you've got that sense of light going well.
You've got to keep decoy fruit around, for cases like this!

LOL!!! I thought this was finished and was going to compliment you on the way you expertly captured the shininess of the apples. Your artistic talents is only surpassed by your generosity.

Hi Jan! Thanks! I enjoyed painting this. I think still lifes are good exercises, it helps me to focus on the subject.
I want to tell you, your paintings are a joy to view. I'll be commenting on some, but like everyone of them!
