Stormy Weather

They say when it gets like this, the walleye are stacked
like cordwood on the west side of the lake!
(Or was it the east side?)
This was from some clouds I saw the other day. I added
the fisherman, as my son had gone fishing up in Ely, Mn.
I didn't get much time this week to paint.. stormy weather
and all.
6"x9" oil on gesso'd board

Another storm painting...I love it Bill!!! Look out this weekend from what I'm hearing about the weather!
I think this painting is great! I love the clouds, lightning and the waves!! What a devoted fisherman :)

Great mood--a storm! I really like this--it feels lonely but I have a feeling that guy in the boat knows exactly what to do to get back to shore. Well done..love the variety of grays.

Thanks Jan! I just got home from St.Criox Falls Wisconsin,it was raining so hard we had to pull over and wait for it to let up! Had I been in the lake, it would be over.

Thanks Celeste! When you're in the middle of a lake, a storm can become frightning. You naturally seek safty as quickly as you can.So you might live to tell about it.

nice painting Bill, it doesn't look like a good day to fish, the waves are getting big.
