Rhonda

I was invited to a friends Christmas get together this holiday season. I accepted. I met
a girl, Rhonda. Wow, she is very pretty.
The next day my friend called and said Rhonda commented I could give her a call. I did.
We got together for coffee, and watched the ball drop on New Years Eve. It was a fun
time.
I asked if I could sketch her, she looked so beautiful sitting there. This is my sketch, on a
moleskin with vine charcoal. It smeared a little. I'll do more!
I want to see her again.
Now I understand the meaning of,"Happy" in New Years. I'm happy to have met her.
(I mentioned I'd like to do a post on my blog about her, she was ok with it!)

Thank you very much Katherine.
It's last thing I thought would happen for Christmas.

I will continue to post more about
oil primed surfaces, and other painting methods I'm trying.
Happy New Years!

Bill---! What a good sketch...Rhonda IS pretty and she has to have been impressed that you could do a drawing of her! She's ok with a blog-post about her...I like her already...! Now, make sure we get more blog posts about what happens next (:)!)

Thank you all for you wonderful comments! It is so supportive in something I am quite frankly nervous about.
(I haven't dated since high school..)

Fear of the unknowen is something I have to learned to embrace, and so I shall :)

Hi Megan! The universe sent me an angel.
I'm sorry if that sounds silly. I'm
looking forwards to every next time I can see her!

Not silly at all! I've always found that the universe has a funny way of making things A-OK just when we need it most. Glad your angel happens to be related to me!
