Giving Thanks

I want to Thank all of you for the kindness and support over
the past months.
The last time Renee was in the hospital, she said,"Thank you
for loving me."
I wept, and still do.
These are her praying hands. They were loving hands. Helping
hands. They changed a lot of diapers, washed a lot of laundry.
I thank God for these hands.

Bill, keeping you close in my thoughts and prayers. You have been a tower, though you may not realize it, and my heart is with you and your family.

Beautiful post and painting. Remembering and carrying on is the best tribute we can pay to those who’ve gone before us.

When I first met my husband, it was his hands that attracted me to him. They were strong hands but so tender. It is amazing what hands can communicate. You have done a beautiful job in communicating with this painting. Showing both faith in God and your love with Renee. Keeping you & your family in prayer.

Bill, Your Renee was one in a million--and you are too. I bet if it had been the other way around, if you went home first...you would have said those exact same words to her. You have lost the physciality of her...but she is still with you all the time. Hugs to you. I love this post!
