Sunday Service

I have to admit, the fall colors are in peak.
A simple stroll through the neighborhood
is all I had to do for this painting.
"I'm doing the trip" A statement I heard
refering to the tasks at hand.
Happy Fall painting everyone!
oil on gesso'd board 5"x 7" (2hrs. of fun!)

Say, Bill- this is an especially nice plein air piece; I'm doing a couple too, but boy it sure can be confusing looking out at all that busy Nature! Trying to remember all the stuff Stape teaches us is tough too!

Hi Judy! Thanks! I'm steeped in Stape! (or try too anyway)
I'm doing the trip!(I have to repeat that, but I won't neck tatoo it..)
I hope you post your plein air paintings Judy,
we need to get ready for winter painting!

I'm so happy to see that gray little truck driving through the canopy of fall color. This piece is so "Bill" to me. It had a lovely warm feeling of coziness.

great shapes and color and I also love the contrast in scale between the vehicle and the tree. Great job!

Thanks Celeste! Scale can help create a sense of the area!
