Sunday Painter

What a beautiful day to paint! The fall colors are here.
I went out to the backyard, and painted a maple tree.
The sun and shadows kept moving, and so did I.
2.5 hrs. oil on gesso'd board. 5.5"x7.5"

Audra and I enjoyed the fall colors as well in the vast forests of Wisconsin! It was a great sight, and I am glad you were able to capture it in this painting. I look forward to seeing it up close tomorrow:)
