Studio View

Last week it was raining for 3 days, so
I painted this view out my window.

I love it when I get to see an artist's depiction of the view out of his window. It has a long tradition in landscape painting. Yours is great, perhaps worthy of a series. I like the overcast light in this one.

Thanks Tony! I'm thinking about painting the
neighborhood, lot of cool areas around here.

Hi Bill, I like this very much, you can feel the wetness in the air. A series is a great idea.

Bill, I love this painting! It has great composition and feeling. There is truth in it, and I think that is what I like the most! Outstanding job!

It has an almost watercolor feel to it. Was it raining that day? The little cars are adorable!

Thanks Cindy! Yes it was raining...and raining.
I painted this in "oils" on a gesso'd board,
5'x7' I wanted the cars to have a "huddled"
look :)

I keep thinking about this painting. Is it for sale? Remember I am a starving artist too! LOL

I know she enjoys it. It was worth a shot! The Bouguereau on my blog belongs to my husband, so I understand.... :)
