He Is Risen!

Christ defeated death, so we can too!
Took a walk through the woods today, it was beautiful.
Saw some deer, the creek was running, many birds chirping.
Ate Easter dinner at my sons house, his wife Audra made
Luthuanian easter eggs for the grandkids. I've never seen
these before. She used leaves and onion skins. Fun!

Bisous

Thank you martine! The woods are not far from my home. I've been walking there for many years
and it is ever changing.I usually see deer, but this time they fallowed me(4) they came up on me several times, only to escape into the wooods.
My daughter in law, Audra was born in Luthuania
And has introduced many things that enrich and inspire our family, and hers!
I encourage creativeness from everyone!

Sounds like a great day Bill, how wonderful to walk around in the woods and be actually followed by dears!!
The eggs of your daughter in law are spectacular, when I first saw it I thought it was a chocolate egg!! Great fantasy.
Keep it up Bill. Hugs

that is a very cool egg...I've never heard of decorating an egg that way...wow! I very much agree with what you've written about Easter. Easter reminds us all that death isn't really death. Love the deer photo! What a treat that they "hung out" with you.

Thanks Jan! Thanks Celeste! Easter Sunday was
a warm sunny day! I'm looking forward to a few more sunny days!
The deer listened as I talked to them. I see a lot of different wildlife in these woods. Thanks again for stopping by!
