Looking for Sunshine

Strange weather huh? Things are different in every way.
I've been moving to a new location closer to the studio.
My new home will be NordEast Minneapolis.
Took some time to paint today, it felt good! Hope to be
painting every day very soon.
I want to explore all the tips and ways to make a better
painting. Info from artists I've met blogging. Put time in
on the easel.
I've got better paint.
I've got better brushes.
I've got Stapleton Kearns signature series Take it easel!
( I'll give a review on the easel as I can. So far I've used it once
and feel cool because it works great!)
This painting is fresh, I have to get a better shot with no glare.
Felt good to paint. Hope you like it.
6"x8" oils on canvasbord. 16k pale gold, water gilded frame.

Glad you were able to paint! Moving can be so exhausting. I really like the reflections on the street on this one.

Well, I DO like it! congratulations on the move and on painting a painting with more planned! This is what I like to hear. You have a lot of talent, and you know...you must "use it"!

Thanks Karla! The rain hits the road so fast, I have to concentrate on that precise moment. The raindrop makes a bubble that floats down the street before it pops. The reflections on the street seems to sizzle and dance. I really did enjoy painting this.

Thank you Celeste! I lost track on how many truck loads I've made. But I'm about 90% there!
Once I'm moved, I'll go back to clean the place up. I want to pass it to the next folks
better that I found it. It's been a wonderful house.
I want to focus or sharpen my "talent" on improving. As with gilding, I should paint everyday to move forward. There is so much to try, there is so much to express. I hope to spend my life trying to express through art!

Thanks for patiently waiting for this post. It's difficult to muli-task lately. I am working towards clearing the board and starting over.

"I hope I get good" I saw zach's mom and grandma because some of their family was in town and I showed them your paintings on your blog and they were speechless... I think it is fair to say you are amazing at what you do!

Hi Cyndi! Thanks!
I use Windsor&Newton Grumbacher and want to try Williamsburg paints. Also looking for LaFranc white.
A variety of brushes, But I'm kinda liking Escoda brushes. Their a family run business in Spain. (Dick Blick art stores have them)
There are other brushes I want to try, but don't have them yet:)
